Amongst the excitement of gaming action and entertainment in Las Vegas, the Global Gaming Expo is back for its fourteenth edition. G2E 2014 welcomes the gaming industry to Sands Expo and Convention Center this week to experience the latest innovations, alongside business, networking and education opportunities.
Produced by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions, the event hosts the biggest line-up of gaming leaders at a single event. Top executives from some of the world’s largest casinos and gaming suppliers will speak about the current state of the industry. Special guests include Steve Wynn, Wynn Resorts Chairman & CEO, and Sheldon Adelson, Las Vegas Sands Chairman & CEO.
Interesting viewpoints designed to provide knowledge and insights integral to success in the fast-paced gaming industry are a refreshing way this year’s show is expanding. Creator, executive producer, writer and director of AMC drama Mad Men, and an executive producer on The Sopranos, Matthew Weiner is one such guest and will talk about leveraging brand equity across multiple channels.
More than 485 exhibitors from 32 countries showcase their latest innovations across 294,000 square-feet of exhibit space, the largest G2E show floor in five years. The G2E 2014 Education Program features a total of 175 speakers sharing their expert knowledge during 68 seminar sessions. Unique networking events run throughout the event, as executives meet to discuss the future of gaming.
“G2E has always been an event shaped ‘by the industry and for the industry’,” commented Ron Rosenbaum, AGA COO. “Our delegates have made it clear that they are looking for G2E to provide venues allowing them to meet with industry colleagues to network and share best practices. Our attendees will have no shortage of outstanding opportunities to network.”
As online gaming continues to play a more significant role in the industry, the iGaming Zone at G2E is a dedicated zone to find leading companies in the space and stay abreast of the latest developments in the sector. iGaming Congress at G2E and the iGaming seminars are prime opportunities to understand the online gaming sector, while preparing for potential US legislation.
To diversify the attendee experience further, a hotel area is being introduced in partnership with the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association (NHLA). Mike Johnson, Reed Exhibitions VP of Industry, explained, “the launch of a Hotel Show within G2E 2014 is a direct response to meet the needs of the diverse gaming industry. We are excited to have Nevada hotel and lodging expertise at our 2014 event and trust G2E attendees will, too.”
G2E 2014 takes place September 30 – October 2 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. If you would like to meet Innovate Gaming at the show, contact us on email@example.com.
