“The first two years of the Innovation Lab have been met with positive feedback as a space for innovative concepts for the gaming industry to come to light, and we’re excited to bring it back for G2E 2018,” said Allie Barth, VP of industry relations for the American Gaming Association. “This year’s Innovation Lab will feature a wide array of perspectives on how the industry can advance into the future both through gaming and broader resort management.”

Another highlight at this year edition is the first Sports Betting Symposium, held by AGA, as Sports Betting in the US has become the hottest topic after the Supreme Court overturned PASPA. This consists in a series of panel discussions and speakers on sports wagering, with topics ranging from legislative issues to business strategies including ample opportunities to engage with sports betting exhibitors. Hall of Fame Basketball legend “Magic” Johnson will deliver a keynote address at the event.

This year’s edition of the show also includes the “Innovation Incubator” competition. G2E is looking for the next big product or service in gaming and hospitality technology innovation, so they invited students and start-ups alike for the opportunity to compete against other trailblazers and showcase their innovative product or service at the event.
