The company has developed a range of its successful land-based slots for mobile, is creating exciting new casino apps and is building in social functionality.
Facebook, leading the online social experience, described at its annual f8 developer conference how the company is naturally working toward a future of combining mobile with social.
Paul Bettner, General Manager of Zynga, said, “Mobile is the modern vehicle for play now. There had been handheld gaming devices before, but there’s never been anything like this, where everybody’s carrying this device around.”
With a staggering shift toward mobile usage, Bally’s innovative mobile products enable players to engage with companies and other players via social media. Players can interact, check leaderboards, compare scores and collect prizes and achievements.
Bally’s mobile slot games such as Vegas Hits, Code Red and PlayBoy Hot Zone replicate functionality experienced at the casino, with technologies including U-Spin gesture control and advanced bonusing.
Players can now play these exciting games on the move, find out the location of a land-based version and interact with the casino through their smartphone device.
Bally’s acquisition of app developer MacroView Labs in July 2011, also enables the company to provide casinos with a host of custom apps. These mobile apps include options such as GPS maps, targeted promotions, slot machine availability, jackpot progressive info, loyalty card sign-up and advanced account management for operators.
