As part of the NOVOMATIC Interactive division, Extreme Live Gaming will be presenting its new and creative Live Dealer attractions at ICE 2017. Innovate Gaming had the chance to interview Darwyn Palenzuela, CEO of Extreme Live Gaming, ahead of the show, who described how the company will be reflecting its strong growth in product and market development.
Mr. Palenzuela explained the nature of being part of the NOVOMATIC Group, which gives Extreme exclusive access to blue chip NOVOMATIC content. By showcasing upgraded product versions such as the Golden Ball Game Show Edition and Reel Roulette, as well as unique Multi-level Tournaments and Dynamic Game Access features, Extreme Live Gaming is excited to show operators how to generate new revenue streams with its live dealer solutions.
Innovate Gaming: What products is Extreme Live Gaming bringing to ICE 2017?
Darwyn Palenzuela: Following extensive research and client feedback, Extreme refocused in late 2016 to produce market-first game features and developments that will enhance the player’s live dealer experience and bring new revenue streams to its operators.
Highlights of our product presentation include Extreme Live Box that will be demonstrated with an enhanced user interface. Live Box is an innovative solution that combines land-based and online gaming in a unique way where bets can be placed from any locations – regulation permitted – on the same table and at the same time as players in the venue. This brings live gaming directly from the casino floor to players’ desktop and mobile devices.
The Golden Ball Game Show Edition introduces a new style and layout to Extreme’s flagship product, Golden Ball. Players can now bet directly on the actual table with a slick new interface and a closer view of the Game Show presenters allowing them to feel more engaged.
Another area of focus for Extreme was the innovative Leaderboard tool. This unique feature empowers operators to customise their own tournaments across all Extreme products. The Leaderboards update in real-time so players can feel the thrill of being part of the challenge.
Dynamic Game Access (DGA) is another industry-first, enabling players to see game information in real-time, in a dynamic display within the operator’s game icons. DGA provides players with the most up-to-date and accurate information on the fly.
Extreme’s new lobby design gives players an easier way to traverse between games and explore the interface features. The new game selection features stylish icons designed for all products with a clear layout whilst ensuring a premium user experience.
IG: What are your expectations for the show this year?
DP: Our expectations for ICE this year are to show how Extreme Live Gaming can provide unique live dealer solutions for both operators with an existing live dealer offering or operators wanting to add live to their portfolio. Our best-in-class content and exclusive brands based on popular NOVOMATIC slot titles attract both high rollers and casual players alike.
IG: Which are the main areas of growth for Extreme Live Gaming in 2017?
DP: Extreme expects to continue its growth in 2017 in the areas of product development as well as in the market development that characterised 2016. Our new products will grow operator revenues by adding new promotional tools to an already growing suite of Live Dealer games. Extreme is already present in most regulated markets and we will continue to expand via partnership and s¬ales in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
IG: Can you describe the impact of being part of the NOVOMATIC Group?
DP: Being part of NOVOMATIC had a significant impact to Extreme’s growth and development. As part of Europe’s largest gaming technology company, we have access to NOVOMATIC’s vast R&D resources across the globe, both from a hardware perspective, such as the new High Speed Lotus Roulette that will on show at ICE, as well as leading blue chip NOVOMATIC content with games like Ra Roulette™, Luck Lady’s Charm Roulette™ and Sizzling Hot Roulette™ that makes Extreme unique in the Live Dealer space.
IG: What trends do you anticipate in the European gaming markets this year?
DP: Regulation in markets in Europe will be a key trend and one that we are planning for. Live Dealer is still relatively new in online casino terms and innovative products and promotional initiatives will continue to be a key focus.
