IGT’s slogan at ICE 2018 clearly reflected the Company’s strong commitment to creating new and innovative gaming experiences specifically designed to entertain players. Walter Bugno, IGT CEO International, took a moment during the show to explain in more depth the Company’s focus under its ICE slogan ‘Designed to Entertain’, which was represented on the stand with an array of more than 200 gaming solutions.
“Designed to Entertain reflects our philosophy with regards to the focus of our game development and our innovation platforms, and what the focus of our R&D is all about,” commented Mr Bugno. “We know we have to compete these days with many leisure options for consumers. Hence, entertainment and people feeling that they are getting value for the time they are investing in an experience with an IGT product is important.”
Mr Bugno emphasizes IGT’s TRUE 4D Technology as the leading innovation on display at the show, which respects the Company’s concept of taking entertainment experiences to a new height. Mr Bugno also highlights the global debut of the CrystalDual® 27 cabinet, as well as several improvements that have been made to some of IGT’s leading products such as Cardless Connect.
IGT’s CEO of international markets also talked about the Company’s current position in Europe, describing it as a market of opportunity. Recognizing IGT’s established position in Western Europe, Mr Bugno sees a great potential of growth in Eastern European countries such as Romania and Bulgaria, whose markets have continued to develop.
